Easy Homemade Amish White Bread & Rolls (Perfect for Thanksgiving Rolls!)

Looking for a great recipe for Thanksgiving rolls? I recommend this one!

Robyn on the Farm's Sweet Amish White Bread & Rolls Recipe

2 c hot water

2/3 c white sugar

1.5 Tbsp yeast (active dry or instant)

4 Tbsp melted butter

5.5 c flour (bread or all purpose)

1.5 tsp salt

Mix and knead in a stand mixer for 6-8 minutes, or by hand for 10 minutes, or make dough using bread machine dough cycle.

Cover and let rise for about 45 minutes or until doubled in size.

Punch down and divide into 2 loaves or 24 rolls (I usually put 12 rolls each in 2 9x13 cast iron pans)

Let rise again for 30 minutes.

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes for loaves, 20 minutes for rolls. Enjoy!

They are reusable, made of 100% cotton, infused with organic beeswax and coconut oil, naturally antibacterial to keep your bread from molding, and handmade by me and my daughters on our family farm!

I can’t find your “like”button on this recipe. I’m sure I’m overlooking it, but I’ve been around the page 2-3 times.
Thank you, Sue

The cast iron casserole is great for making biscuits too. Thank you so much for the info on this bread. I’ll let you know how it turns out!
