This beeswax bread bag is designed to be breathable, moisture-regulating, and naturally antibacterial, helping to protect your food from mold and bacteria while keeping it fresh without the need for plastic. The specially formulated beeswax coating allows excess moisture to escape, while still retaining enough humidity to prevent the crust from becoming damp or soggy—something plastic often causes. This balance helps to slow mold growth, keeping your bread fresh for longer. 

Ideal for sandwich breads, sourdough breads, baguettes, French breads, as well as cheeses, fruits, vegetables, and other fresh baked goods, our beeswax bags excel in average to humid environments. In these conditions, they offer the perfect combination of moisture retention and air circulation, keeping your food fresh and protected. However, in colder or drier climates, the natural moisture-wicking properties of the bag can sometimes allow too much moisture to escape, which may affect the freshness of your food. If you live in a dry or cold environment, you can help the bag maintain optimal performance by using a clip to seal it more tightly, storing it in a pantry or drawer, or placing it inside a paper bag.
