Easy Bread Machine Recipe Almond Poppy Seed Yeast Bread Dough Cycle Bread Maker

Easy Bread Machine Recipe Almond Poppy Seed Yeast Bread Dough Cycle Bread Maker

Easy Almond Poppy Seed Yeast Bread | Bread Machine Dough Cycle Learn how to make a delicious loaf of almond poppyseed yeast bread using your bread machine’s dough cycle. This easy recipe is beginner-friendly and perfect for a lightly sweet and savory loaf of bread. Just let the machine handle the mixing and rising, then shape the dough and bake it in your oven for fresh, homemade bread - or make this loaf totally in your bread machine. Either way, this easy bread machine recipe turns out great every time! Be sure to see the printable recipe where I will give you the recipes for a 1 lb loaf, 1.5 lb loaf, and 2 lb loafs, and give you measurements in cups and spoons and also in grams!

Almond Poppy Seed Yeast Bread

1.5 lb Loaf:

  • 1 cup warm milk (240 g)
  • 3 Tbsp melted butter (42 g)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (50 g)
  • 1 large egg (50–55 g)
  • 2 tsp almond extract (10 g)
  • 1 1⁄2 – 2 Tbsp poppy seeds (12–16 g)
  • 1 tsp salt (6 g)
  • 1/2 cup oats (45 g)2 2/3 – 3 cups all- purpose flour (330–360 g)
  • 2 1/4 tsp yeast

Dough Cycle/Oven Baking:
Place all of the ingredients in the pan exactly the same way. Choose "dough" or
"dough cycle" on your bread machine and press start. Be sure to check your ball
of dough after about 3-5 minutes. If it isn't coming together into a nice ball of
dough, add 1/8 c more flour until it does. Or, if it looks crumbly and not smooth,
add about 1 Tbsp of water or milk until it looks smooth, like mine. In 1.5 hours,
the dough cycle will end and it will be ready to shape into a loaf. Shape into a loaf
and place in well-greased or oiled bread loaf pan. I use an 8.5x4.5 cast iron loaf
pan for the 1 lb and 1.5 lb loaves, and a 10x5 for the 2 lb loaf recipe. Let rise on
countertop for about 30 minutes or until it has risen over the edge of the bread
pan. Place into preheated 350-degree oven and bake for 30 minutes. Remove
from bread pan immediately, brush will butter, and cover to let cool. Cut after
completely cooled for best crumb and crumble. (But I always cut hot because I
can't resist!) ENJOY! Please share this video with your friends!
