See below for the printable recipe for a 1 lb loaf, 1.5 lb loaf, and a 2 lb loaf!

Bread Machine Antique White Bread

2 lb Loaf:
1 3/8 c hot water
1⁄4 c oil
1⁄4 sugar
4 c bread flour
1 1⁄2 tsp salt
2 tsp yeast

1.5 lb Loaf:
1 c hot water
3 Tbs oil
3 Tbsp sugar
3 c bread flour
1 tsp salt
1.5 tsp yeast

1 lb Loaf:
5/8 hot water
2 Tbs oil
2 Tbsp sugar
2 c bread flour
3⁄4 tsp salt
1 tsp yeast

Add the ingredients to your bread machine in the order listed and choose a basic white cycle on your bread machine. This should be about 3 hours in length. I also make this bread using the “quick” cycle (not the cycle for quick breads, it is just an abbreviated cycle) which is about 2 hours and 15 minutes long with success. Be sure to check on
your ball of dough and make adjustments if it is too wet or dry. See video for instructions. Let the bread machine make this wonderful, classic loaf of soft, fluffy, all-purpose white bread!
