This may just be my favorite banana bread recipe. This Banana Walnut Bread is a quick bread that is simple to whip up and bake in the oven. Follow the easy step by step instructions in this baking tutorial for a delcious sweet bread for breakfast or dessert!

Banana Walnut Quick Bread Recipe (Oven Baked)

Ingredients:

1 1/2 c all-purpose flour (180 g) or 180 grams/1.5 c fresh milled flour (I like soft white)
1 tsp baking soda (5 g)
1/4 tsp salt (1.5 g)
1/8 tsp cinnamon (0.3 g)
1/8 tsp nutmeg (0.3 g)

Wet Ingredients
1 1/2 c mashed bananas (340 g)
6 Tbsp melted butter (85 g)
3/4 c sugar (150 g)
1 egg (50 g)
1 tsp vanilla extract (5 g)

Add-ins
3/4 c walnuts or pecans (90–100 g)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and set
aside. Mash bananas, add wet ingredients, and mix until smooth. Add flour
mixture to wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Add walnuts. Pour
evenly into well-greased loaf pan (or use loaf liner!) and bake for 50-55 minutes.
My loaf pans measure 8x5 x 4.5 inches. Enjoy! This recipe makes 1 loaf of
banana walnut bread. Double or triple the recipe to share or freeze!

Delicious! I made three of Robyn’s breads in one day and every one is awesome! This banana bread has a delicate mellow flavor. Perfectly balanced. Another big thank you!
