Almond Flour Sandwich Bread

Almond Flour Sandwich Bread

Almond Flour Sandwich Bread

Gluten Free, Paleo-Friendly, Lower Carb, Yeast Free!

This easy Almond Flour Sandwich Bread is a simple, delicious alternative to traditional wheat bread. Made with just a handful of wholesome ingredients, this gluten-free, yeast-free, and lower-carb bread has a tender texture and mild flavor that makes it perfect for sandwiches, toast, or open-faced sandwiches.

There’s no yeast, no rising, and no complicated steps. Just mix the ingredients, pour the batter into a loaf pan, and bake! I especially love this bread for open-faced sandwiches because it holds up beautifully under all my favorite toppings.

If you’re looking for an easy almond flour bread recipe without yeast, this is a great one to keep on hand. It’s quick to make, naturally gluten-free, and a wonderful way to enjoy homemade bread without traditional wheat flour.

Ingredients

240 g (2 ½ c) superfine almond flour

4 g (1 tsp) baking powder

3 g (1/2 tsp) baking soda

3 g (1/2 tsp) salt

5 large eggs

32 g (1 ½ Tbs) honey or maple syrup

14 g (1 Tbs) oil (I use olive oil or coconut oil)

15 g (1 Tbs) apple cider vinegar

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, whisk together the almond flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until well combined.

Pour the batter into a well-greased, lined, or nonstick loaf pan. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove the loaf from the pan and allow it to cool completely before slicing, as the bread can be crumbly while warm.

Enjoy as sandwich bread—I especially love it for open-faced sandwiches!
