In this video, I’ll show you step by step how to make banana bread with cake mix — perfect for busy days, last-minute baking, or when you want a quick treat without the mess!
4 Ingredient Cake Mix Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix (about 432 g)
- 1/2 cup melted butter (113 g)
- 2 large eggs
- 2–3 ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 1/2 cups / 340 g)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8.5x4.5 or 9x5-inch loaf pan or use a loaf pan liner.
2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
3. Add the eggs, melted butter, and cake mix. Stir until just combined — do not overmix.
4. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
5. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!

This is TOO easy and TOO delicious!! Tried it with spice cake, like Robyn recommended and it is SOOO good! I also tried blueberries with lemon cake and it was very good. I need to work a little more on getting the right amount of blueberries to make it perfect but the bread didn’t last long at all so it was still good!!! THANKS AGAIN, ROBYN, FOR GREAT IDEAS!!!
