3 Ingredient Southern Mayo Drop Biscuits
Make the easiest, fluffiest Southern-style drop biscuits with only 3 ingredients: self-rising flour, mayonnaise, and buttermilk! No eggs, no butter, no oil, no eggs, no rolling, no cutting, no fuss! These are perfect for breakfast, supper, or anytime you crave soft, tender biscuits without much time or fuss. These are ready in less than 30 minutes!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups self-rising flour (240 g)
- 1 cup buttermilk (240 g)
- ¼ cup mayonnaise (60 g)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Add self-rising flour, buttermilk, and mayo and stir until combined.
3. Divide batter equally into a well-greased 6-well muffin pan. (Want these smaller? Divide between 12 muffin wells! Bake for 12-15 minutes.)
4. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden.
To Serve:
Enjoy warm for breakfast or supper with butter, honey and jam!
All-Purpose Flour Substitute:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (240 g)
- 3 tsp baking powder (12 g)
- 1/2 tsp salt (3 g)
