2 Ingredient Buttermilk Bread
No Yeast, No Eggs, No Knead, No Rise!
250 g self-rising flour (2 cups)
300 g buttermilk (1¼ cups)
To Make Your Own Self-Rising Flour:
Whisk together 240 g all-purpose flour (2 cups), 12 g baking powder (1 Tbsp), and 3 g salt (½ tsp).
Directions
Mix the self-rising flour and buttermilk until just combined. It will be batter-like in consistency.
Pour into a well-oiled loaf pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35–40 minutes, or until golden brown and baked through.
Turn the loaf out of the pan and allow it to cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy your simple homemade buttermilk bread!
Store in a beeswax bread bag!
This is how I store my bread! If you're looking for an alternative to plastic bread bags, our beeswax bread bags are a healthy way to store your bread!
