Ingredients:

2 1⁄2 c all-purpose flour
4 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar
2 c buttermilk (or 2 c milk + 2 Tbsp vinegar or lemon juice or 2 c water
+ 1⁄2 c buttermilk powder)
1⁄2 c butter, melted in a 10-inch cast iron skillet or 8x8 baking dish

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Measure all ingredients except butter in
a mixing bowl, and stir until just combined. Place skillet or baking dish
with 1 stick (1/2 c) of butter into hot oven to melt the butter. Once
melted, pour batter into the skillet or baking dish. Draw knife through
uncooked batter, 3 cuts each way, to make 16 biscuits. This will help
the butter to reach each biscuit and give them a better flavor. Bake at
450 degrees for 20-24 minutes or until desired golden color. I bake
mine for 22 minutes. Enjoy hot out of the oven!
