Made with ripe bananas, a touch of honey, and simple pantry ingredients, this bread is incredibly easy to make using the bread machine or the bread machine dough cycle. Bread Machine Banana Sandwich Bread Recipe

2 lb Loaf:

1– 1 1/3 c (240–300 g) warm milk
4 Tbs (56 g) honey
2 Tbs + 1 tsp (37 g) melted butter
2/3 c (160 g) mashed banana
4 c (480 g) flour

2 tsp (11 g) salt
2 tsp (6 g) yeast


1.5 lb Loaf:

3/4 – 7/8 c (180–210 g) warm milk
2 Tbs (42 g) honey
2 Tbs (28 g) melted butter
1/2 c (120 g) mashed banana
3 c (360 g) flour
1.5 tsp (8.5 g) salt
1.5 tsp (4.5 g) yeast
1 lb Loaf
:

1/2 c – 2/3 c(120–150 g) milk
2 Tbs (42 g) honey
1 Tbs+ 1 tsp (19 g) melted butter
1/3 c (80 g) mashed banana
2 c (240 g) flour
1 tsp (5 g) salt
1 tsp (3 g) yeast

Bread Machine: Add ingredients to bread machine in order listed and choose basic white cycle (about 3 hours). Check your ball of dough a few minutes in to check to be sure all ingredients are incorporated and your dough looks smooth, not too sticky, wet, or dry (see video).

Dough Cycle: Place into bread machine bread pan in order listed. Set to dough cycle. Check your ball of dough a few minutes in to check to be sure all ingredients are incorporated and your dough looks smooth, not too sticky, wet, or dry (see video). When the dough cycle has completed in 1.5 hours, punch down dough and turn out onto counter. Shape into a loaf and place in loaf pan. Let rise for 20-30 minutes. Bake in 350 oven for 30 minutes.
