Ingredients:
1 cup buttermilk (240 g)

2 Tbsp sugar (25 g) or 2 Tbsp honey (42 g)
2 tsp yeast (6 g) (active dry or instant)
2 Tbsp butter (28 g)
1 large egg
3 1/2 cups flour (420 g)
1 1/2 tsp salt (9 g)
Instructions:
Measure all ingredients into a mixing bowl in order listed and let knead in stand mixer for 6-8 minutes (I use speed 2). Cover bowl with a warm wet tea towel and let dough rise for about 45 minutes. Punch down and shape into a loaf. Place into a well-oiled bread loaf pan. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and let dough rise until it peaks just above the sides of the loaf pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool if you can stand it, and slice for great sandwich bread. Enjoy!

My buttermilk bread turned out perfect. I have little experience in making bread so I was a bit nervous. I couldn’t believe how delicious it is. Thanks so much.
