1-Hour Honey Wheat Bread 🍯🌾🍞 Quick & Easy Homemade Bread Recipe

Welcome to Robyn on the Farm! I'm sharing with you my 1 Hour Honey Wheat Bread Recipe that I've been making for more than 19 years! This recipe is so simple, yet so delicious. This bread is so quick to make because it only requires 1 rise, so you will have this healthy, homemade bread ready to eat from start to finish in just one hour! That's incredible!

1-Hour Honey Wheat Bread

Ingredients:
3 c hot water
1/3 c honey or 1/2 c sugar (stir to dissolve)
1/3 c oil or butter
6 1/2-7 c whole wheat flour, or any combination (I used 5 c whole wheat flour, 2
c bread flour)
1 Tbs vital wheat gluten
1 Tbs dough enhancer
1 Tbs salt
1 Tbs yeast (active dry or instant)

Instructions:

Put all ingredients into bowl in order listed. Mix with an electric stand mixer for
8 minutes on speed 2. You dough should not stick to the sides/bottom of the
bowl. If it is, add 1/4 c more flour until it pulls away from sides and bottom
easily. Want to be able to handle the dough at the end of the kneading without it
sticking to hands. Shape into 2 loaves and place into bread loaf pans. Heat oven
to 350 for 1-2 minutes then turn off oven! Put loaves into warm oven and let
rise for 20 minutes. Remove loaf pans and preheat oven to 350 degrees. Let
bake for 30 minutes. Let cool before cutting...if you can wait! Enjoy!Β

I am new to your website. I made your recipe and came out perfect breads not talking about the taste and flavour. Fantastic is ther only word that describe this recipe. Will be repeating it again for sure.

Good morning. I’m new to your website. I’ve heard you mention β€œthe sweeter the honey… β€œso do you mind sharing what kind or flavor of honey you use in your recipe? Thank you so much.

Robyn ever hear of Egg harbor Amish recipe from Bayfield Wisconsin. James Beard had the recipe in his bread book. Northern tourist loved the bread. I mainly use Montana whole wheat. Love watching your bread baking videos. Thank You
